About UsShailen Pathy is a high school student, and currently attends Daniel Hand High School in Madison, Connecticut. He started HipAirbags as a school project in middle schools, he saw the high rates of hip fractures in the elderly population, and thought that there should be a way to prevent them. After he came up with the idea for school, Shailen decided to do more research into hip fractures.
